The 36 holes at Pelican Hill Golf Club offer challenging play, breathtaking landscaping, and sweeping ocean vistas.
The gorgeous Crystal Cove State Park extends over 2,400 acres to Newport Coast’s south. 18 miles of trails for hiking and biking wind through Crystal Cove State Park’s spectacular scenery of inland chaparral canyons, ocean bluffs, and 3.2-mile sandy beachfront. Popular trails include a 2.5-mile paved trail running along the blufftops and a 7.4-mile loop taking in many amazing views
The historic collection of Crystal Cove Beach Cottages are a unique landmark in the state park. Built along the beachfront and blufftops between 1920 and 1940, the 24 cottages comprising this protected historic district are available for rent all year round. The 1940s-style Crystal Cove Shake Shack is another throwback attraction offering a classic menu of American comfort food and breakfast plates. Crystal Cove Shake Shack’s menu also includes more than 30 varieties of delicious shakes and malts.
To Newport Coast’s immediate north, Buck Gully Reserve has trails for hiking, mountain biking, and interpretive walks surrounding a dramatic coastal canyon.
